A whole day

If I was going to waste a whole day, I really would have preferred to do it on the East Fork, fishing for trout among the diapers.

Instead, as directed, I waited here all day. For what I do not know. Well, at least my rifle is vey, very clean.

It's strange, this morning at dawn was the first time I really sensed that I knew what she wanted. I was sure of it.

But then, nothing. I felt like "wait" meant I should be "standing by."

But maybe "wait" just meant "wait." I think I prefer the blackouts to this.

Half a bottle of Jack and then to bed.

"Wait"

Sometimes all I hear is "wait." I don't know if it means to wait for something in particular, or to just sit here and wait. It drives me crazy sometimes. (So to speak.)

I've been waiting for a while now. What the hell am I waiting for?
